Michele Mahoney

I have more than 40 years of coaching experience. For over 15 years, as a coach in Lagrange Soccer Club/Middlepath on both the girls' and boys' sides, I have taken teams from U6 intramural to travel, from travel to premier and then on to college showcases. Many of my former players have gone on to play in DI, DII and DIII college programs. I have also had the pleasure to train several college All-Americans and a few professional players!
In 2004, I began coaching at Kieran's Soccer Academy and then The New York Soccer Academy. Shortly thereafter, I joined the Coerver coaching staff running clinics and camps throughout Dutchess County. During the summers I have run soccer camps at Gold's Gym, and still run camps at Vassar College and several local clubs.
In 2016, when my BU18 Middlepath team aged out of the youth program, I moved over to the training aspect of coaching. I have trained teams from Lagrange Soccer Club and am currently working with teams and programs from East Fishkill Soccer Club and Town of Poughkeepsie Soccer Club. At the recreational level, I have run an afterschool soccer program through vonEgypt Soccer Academy at St. Columba Catholic School as well as a Little Kickers program through Gold's Gym. In addition to team training, I work with individual players and small groups who are preparing for their high school or college seasons.
As a member of the United Soccer Coaches of America, I am furthering my knowledge of the game and enhancing my coaching tools by utilizing the vast amount of information on their web site.
